GM to debut next Corsa in London; shutter Opel operations in Indian markets

GM of Europe's Opel and Vauxhall divisions have announced that they will show off the next Corsa at the British International Motor Show in London. A UK debut for the fourth-generation model makes sense, as Blighty is the model's biggest market by quite a margin.

The EuroGeneral promises that the new Corsa "will have stunning styling and an array of innovative technology features in a choice of three and five-door bodies." (A current model is pictured)

Both body styles are slated for debut at the London show (July 18-30), with sales following this fall.

In other news, GM has also announced that it is withdrawing Opel from Indian markets, allowing the automaker to focus on building its Chevrolet lineup instead.
