U.K. car mag world's first to go 'carbon neutral'

What Car? magazine announced Thursday that it is the first car magazine to go 'climate neutral' - offsetting all the carbon dioxide emissions it produces testing cars, running its offices and flying to car events worldwide.

The magazine has partnered with Climate Care to contribute to the organization's offset program, which funds activities to reduce carbon emissions worldwide, including replanting forests in Uganda, and providing efficient cookstoves in Bangladesh.

The magazine marked its new commitment to environmentally-conscious motoring by publishing (on St. Patrick's Day, no less!) "Going Green" - a magazine supplement to the May issue of What Car?
