This could be pure rumor, so don’t blame us if it is, but Gear6 is claiming that a source within Maserati is saying the company will not field its MC12 in the 2006 American Le Mans Series.
Risi Competizione campaigned the MC12 last year and has been officially silent about the status of the vehicle for 2006, although the company has already announced it will be campaigning the new Ferrari F430GT in ALMS next year, as well.
