Sport Model slated for 2007 Cadillac SRX

This fall Cadillac will begin selling a revamped SRX lineup that will include a sport model for the first time. The entire lineup will benefit from a revised interior featuring materials said to be a grade or two above the current model’s plasticky appointments.
Also new will be a sport model of the SRX, though Inside Line is reporting the trim will consist more of sporty “appearance items” than anything of substance. Think bigger wheels, less chrome and new color choices. Is that what “sport” has come to mean these days in the auto biz?

Pricing for the sport model has yet to be determined, though the SRX’s price recently fell by around $3,000 as part of GM’s value-pricing plan.
