The Golden Era of NASCAR

American Stock™ has released a four DVD set titled “The Golden Era of NASCAR”. The set covers NASCAR’s history from 1938 when promoter “Big” Bill France (pictured) started work at the Daytona Beach races to 1971 when his son took over. The series stars such famous NASCAR folks as Walter "Bud" Moore, "Red" Byron, "Smokey" Yunick, and Sara Christian, who still holds the record for highest finish by a woman in NASCAR. The set costs $79.
