Spy Shots: Mercedes Benz CLS 63 AMG

One of the more pretty faces at the Mercedes display in Detroit was the CLS, although conspicuously absent was a fire breathing AMG version. eMercedesBenz has shots of an undisguised CLS 63 AMG running the ‘Ring in Germany, along with some shots of a CLK 63 AMG. The 6.3L V8 both vehicles will be packing is one of the most powerful naturally aspirated V8 engines in the world alongside the LS7 V8 in the Corvette Z06. Although rated at a stout 510 hp, eMercedesBenz reports it may be detuned to something south of the 500 hp mark in these two applications.
