Jaguar is not for sale

Reuters reports Ford of Europe head, Lewis Booth, has moved to quash rumors that Ford Motor is thinking of selling Jaguar.
While confirming that Ford of Europe is on track to post a pretax profit of $100 - $200 million for 2005, Booth denied that Ford's premium brand was for sale, saying "There are no truths in those persistent rumors." Booth's statement was probably prompted by recent speculation that Renault may be interested in acquiring the brand.
