Scion xB gets repriced and minor updates mid-year

Toyota has announced the 2006.5 Scion xB will receive a minor price increase over the 2006 model. Both the manual and auto versions will cost an additional $150 to purchase ($14,030 with a manual and $14,830 with an automatic), but that extra buck and a half will get you an updated interior and new colors. Don't get too excited, though. The new interior consists of new fabric for the seats and audio controls integrated into the steering wheel. The new colors for model year 2006.5 are Salsa Red Pearl and Shadow Mica. Camoflouge Green and Black Cherry Pearl (shown) are history. Production began early last week and the new xB will be arriving on the West Coast by New Year's.
