TCC spots the Chrysler Aspen

Billed as the upscale answer to the Dodge Durango, the Chrysler Aspen aims to be everything that folks associate with its namesake — rugged yet high-end. The first full-size SUV for the brand, the Aspen is expected to carry all the same equipment (optional or standard, we're not sure) as the Durango, including the HEMI V8 and five-speed automatic transmission. As for what will differentiate the Aspen from the Durango, however, we're not quite sure. We do know that some NVH-reducing components will be unique to the Aspen, and one would expect many of the upper-tier options of the Durango to come standard on the Aspen.
