Car Point Korea launches the XROAD X500

Car Point Korea has developed a new navigation system in collaboration with Mitsui Japan called the XROAD X500. Evidently, the gadget features LED lights on either side of the screen that blink yellow to indicate an upcoming turn. If you see both lights blinking red at the same time, watch out! The XROAD X500 is programmed to let you know when you're near a "dangerous spot," according to the linked story.

Not sure what they mean by "dangerous spot" — if the device indicates dangerous neighborhoods, what's the criteria for judging which areas are "dangerous?" And is the company planning on doing damage control when the navigation system offends a customer for calling their neighborhood "dangerous?"
