Subaru B9 Tribeca earns four 5-star ratings from NHTSA

They say looks aren't everything, which certainly holds true for Subaru's 2006 B9 Tribeca. The company has announced the odd-looking SUV received 5-stars in frontal and side-impact crash tests performed by the NHTSA for both the driver and passenger. The Tribeca features a host of passive and active safety features including front passenger occupant-sensing, dual-stage airbags, side impact seat-mounted and roof-mounted curtain airbags, and ABS with electronic brake-force distribution. This is great news for Subaru's new SUV, which comes standard with a very effective anti-theft system - its looks.
