Chrysler renews "Signature Series" and intros "Great American Package"

DCX announced today that it was renewing the option package honoring Walter P. Chrysler called "Signature Series" on most of its models. The Signature Series package was introduced in 2005 and this year will be available on the 300 Touring, Town & Country, Pacifica Touring, PT Cruiser Touring, and Sebring base and Touring models. The special package offers buyers a better value on popular equipment like sunroofs and nav systems, one-of-a-kind interiors and limited-production color choices.

Further diversifying the 300's portfolio is the "Great American Package" (shown) that MSRP's around $25,600 and includes a total content savings of $1,000. The only engine available with this package is the relatively tiny (compared to the 5.7L HEMI) 2.7L V6 producing 190 hp and returning 21/28 mpg. The package includes ABS, traction control, ESP w/ brake assist, air filtration, 17-inch aluminum wheels and a 6-disc CD/MP3 player, just to name a few. While style has always been standard on the 300, the Great American Package includes a lot of content for a "base" model vehicle.
