Mercedes R55 AMG to debut at Frankfurt

At the Frankfurt Auto Show next month, MB will show off the high-performance version of its R-Class sports tourer — R55 AMG. The juiced up wagon, no, I mean, Estate, uhhhh whatever… will probably get AMG's 5.5L, 476 bhp V8 and possibly even a supercharged 5.0L V8. This is definitely not your average soccer mom wagon, and it's rumored that it will come standard with a "My kid can kick your kid's ass" bumper sticker (OK, alright, I made that up). It will, however, retain the regular R-Class's ground breaking center console cup holder configuration that enables it to hold your 7-eleven 44oz. Big Gulps. Sweet!
