Kia announces recall

Man, we can barely post fast enough to keep up with all the recalls, which is why the last post on the topic didn't include the lastest from Kia. In this case, 118,000 Sedona minivans will be recalled because of a problem with the throttle cable. Apparently, wintertime conditions can cause it to freeze up and cause the throttle to hang in an opened position. Gee, didn't the auto industry learn anything from the DeLorean debacle? This will be the second recall this month for the Sedona, and actually the second one related to water getting into places it shouldn't be (it was rear wheel bearings in the previous case, if you're curious). Maybe there's a reason why this van was named after a town in Arizona.
