Panamera to debut at Frankfurt

Expect to see the new Porsche Panamera in the flesh this September at Frankfurt. It definitely seems like the new four door Porsche is going to be a reality very soon. Sources inside Porsche also indicate that the new car will be developed and built by Porsche with component suppliers contributing where necessary. This is different than their approach with the Cayenne, which was developed with VW. The Cayenne is partially built by VW before being shipped to Porsche's Leipzig factory for completion. With the success of the Mercedes CLS, you can be sure this particular car will garner a lots of fans.
