Toyota will raise prices by 2 to 3 percent

Newspaper The Asahi Shimbun is reporting that Toyota's plan to raise U.S. prices in October. Toyota is still using the "to help rivals in Detroit" line for the increases. The hike will be in the 2 to 3 percent range. Reuters reports that a Toyota spokesman said the automaker has not made the official decision for the price hike. If the increase comes to light, the Camry's price would go up by a few hundred dollars.
