Ford's European arm is considering installing an all aluminum Volvo 6-cylinder in the next Focus RS. North America will never have this car on its streets, but Europe may receive a 350 hp variant. With all wheel drive pushing this power to the ground, you can be assured it will be extremely fast. We're talking faster than EVO, WRX STi, and just about anything else in its class.
The US does not receive the C1 platform-based Focus, but we do receive the Mazda3 and the Volvo S40/V50. With Volvo expected to use a modified version of the C-platform for it's next midsize offering, we may see the next S60-R and V70-R models with the 350 hp six-cylinder that will power the next Ford Focus RS.
