New New Beetle

How do you update the New Beetle design? Very slightly. First, the major mechanical change: The standard engine has been upgraded to the 2.5-liter, five cylinder with 150 horsepower (up from the 115 hp). Now we'll point out the exterior changes that may be hard to spot. There are sharper creases in the fenders, larger headlights, new taillights and new front and rear bumpers. Inside, chrome is used to accent the gauges and air vents. We guess this is the last "refresh" before the Beetle retires once again. Click for more pictures.
