Lincoln still looking for voice

The "blue-collar luxury" brand still has an identity crisis and vehicles like the Mark LT truck doesn't help things. Ford's North American design chief, Peter Horbury, is at odds with J Mays and his retro design thoughts. While we don't believe that every car should look to the past for influence, don't tell us a Mark IX like the one above wouldn't set some fires at Lincoln dealers. How about if Lincoln beats Chrysler with a four-door convertible complete with suicide doors? Sometimes the past isn't that bad.
