Edmunds takes on Audi A3 and A6 Avant

We're still waiting to get our hands on the new Audi A3 but Edmunds has already taken it and the A6 Avant (larger than our recent A4 test vehicle) for generous drives. The revelations come that the FWD A3 is still a performance friendly vehicle with the 200 hp turbo engine and no quattro system. If the power is similar to the A4 Avant's, than this lighter model should feel even faster than that sporty wagon. The real question is the price tag and whether the "just shy" part of $25,000 will hold up at the dealerships or if that's before normal option selections.
