Cadillac is certainly trying to influence everyone from the automotive press to football fans that their new high powered V series can compete with the big boys, meaning the Germans, including the vaunted BMW M Series. Instead of going for the Corvette power found in the impressive CTS-V, the larger new STS-V uses a supercharged Northstar V8. Car and Driver gives it s thorough look and likes the power but as always we'll have to wait for a compare to see how it really holds up. For a $75,000 estimated price tag we don't see the STS-V being as hot a seller as the slimmer CTS version.
