USA Today reports the reason being more women are purchasing motorcycles and that they appeal to a broader range of people. The average age of buyers in 2003 was 41 up from 32 in 1990. But a big omission in the story is the popularity of motorcycles in pop culture and all the television shows featuring bike builders and celebrities. How did they miss that?
