Throw money at it and you will win

has Toyota's first year in NASCAR's Craftsman Truck series wrapped up in a nutshell. Toyota ended up winning four races out of 25 and beat Ford in the manufacturer's championship, proof that in NASCAR, if you throw enough money at it, you too can win. Some were not happy with a foreign brand breaking into one of NASCAR's three big series (Toyota's been racing Celicas in smaller NASCAR classes for years) including always loud NASCAR driver Jimmy Spencer who spoke the award-winning quote, "Those (SOBs) bombed Pearl Harbor, don't forget. As long as it's good for the economy, I guess it's OK. But I hope Ford, Chevrolet and Dodge kick their ass." You gotta love that Toyota felt like they had to waste money in the NASCAR racing series.
