BMW burnt butt recall

BMW is recalling 75,000 5 and 7 series cars to replace front seat heating mats that may cause burns. The seat mats could overheat in "certain circumstances", whatever that may be, damage upholstery and possibly burn the skin of the occupant. About 69,750 5 series (2004-05) and 5,550 7 series are affected world-wide. The recall cost will be over $21 million.
