Honda moving CR-V production to the US

Honda plans to move production of the CR-V to one of their plants in Ohio in order to build the SUV in its major market, North America. Honda is freeing up space in their United Kingdom CR-V plant so they can produce diesel CR-Vs for the European market. Japan will continue to build American-market CR-Vs until 2006 when it is moved to Ohio. This move is not expected to create any new jobs in the plant.
