Toyota Avalon gains length and power for 2006; can now give her unlimited orgasms

So maybe it's not just me getting those emails. Toyota's flag-bearing ship will sit on an extended wheelbase chassis that makes it look, if you'll excuse the slang foray, long as hell.  A new 3.5 liter V6 will contributed 280 horses to the package, which should, along with the dimensions, help the car better compete with the major large-sedan players. Rear legroom is now nearly identical to the Lexus LS430's, and the car will apparently be taking a large leap forward in terms of luxury. The 2006 Avalon's official coming out party will be the 2K5 NAIA Show in Detroit.
