Getting schooled about the GTO Judge

For a brief but thorough history of how the GTO high powered Judge came into existence check out this piece by Dan Jedlicka. For instance, I didn't know the Judge got its name because Pontiac head John DeLorean lifted it from the TV show "Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In." But of more interest to car buffs will be the fact that it was intended to be a stripped version of the GTO not an over-the-top performance model.
