Ford SVT still makes hand-built engines

As the assembly line still churns with current Mustang Cobras the engines are actually put together separately, one at a time, by guys named Ron & Gary. These two, along with a handful of other SVT engine experts, make every SVT engine including the new Ford GT's powerful 550-hp V-8. On this assembly line the guys follow each engine through all its steps. There's no monotonous work here. And at the end they get to put their signature on each piece of art. No word on how long the downtime between the current Cobra and next generation will be, but these guys will have their hands full with the new GT.
