Book Review: Smart Wheels Hot Deals (Silver Lake Publishing)

It's Friday night and I'm doing what any young, single, urban dwelling guy is doing. Sitting on the couch with the Cubs game on and reading a book sent from a PR company. Smart Wheels Hot Deals is a guide to buying, leasing and selling cars. I figured this would be a rudimentary stroll through the steps that I knew pretty well already. But surprisingly the Silver Lake Editors put together a very detailed package (290 pages!) on how car sales work and explain it for the every man. Call me impressed. There were quite a few tidbits I didn't know but overall this guide is for the first time buyer. I wouldn't go out and buy this for my own automotive library with the $11.95 cover price, but if I had an uninformed friend that was looking to make a big investment in a car, it might make a good purchase.
