Are you the sort of person that thought Mad Max: Fury Road had just the perfect amount of insanity? Do you wish that a similarly bonkers concept would be translated to your favorite video game console? Well, you'll want to take a look at the story trailer for Mad Max: Savage Road.

It looks absolutely insane, with all the epic, post-apocalyptic set pieces, wild vehicles, and bizarre characters of the film, but in a new standalone story. You can check out the full trailer on the game's story up top, and then scroll below to get a recap of how the new title will play when it launches later this year, with the gameplay trailer.

Traditionally, video games based on movies are abysmal. Based on these two trailers, do you think Savage Road will break that trend? Have your say in Comments. Mad Max: Savage Road will be available on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC, and will hit shelves on September 1.
