Illinois Car Museum will give away DeLorean if Chicago Cubs win World Series

A museum in Illinois is giving away a DeLorean, but only if the Chicago Cubs win the 2015 World Series as predicted in the science-fiction film Back to the Future II.

Volo Auto Museum in Volo, Ill., has pledged to give away a 1981 DeLorean, complete with a flux capacitor, if the team can pull off a World Series win, ABC reported. The car, worth $85,000, came to the museum from a collector who reproduced many of the films props.

Beginning March 21, fans can enter the raffle by visiting the museum and entering their wrist band number online. Or you can mail in a self-addressed envelope and the museum will send you a registration number in the mail.

The Cubs winning the World Series this year, like food in pill form and mass-market hoverboards, is pretty unlikely. Many fans think the team is cursed. Last year, the Cubs finished dead last in their division. The haven't played in the World Series since 1945 (when they lost to the Detroit Tigers), and they haven't won the Series since they captured back-to-back crowns from 1907-1908.

In the likely event that the Cubs don't win the World Series this year, the winner of the drawing wins a consolation prize, the museum's hoverboard prop.
