Ketterer Continental – Click above for image gallery

We're into camping as much as the next guy(s), and we're really up for a few days of "roughing it" when it comes to a luxury coach motor home. And when we're looking for the highest of the high end, few stand out more than the Ketterer Continental luxury motor home.

ketterer continental exteriorThis monster motor home features a Mercedes-Benz truck chassis, a massive, luxurious cabin that includes a real kitchen, dining with seating for five, a master bedroom with a king bed plus a shower, toilet and sky light. Actually, the main bedroom features a bath tub, too, so you can soak after a hard day of... whatever it is that the wealthy do when they're "camping."

And if you're on an extended trip through the local RV parks, you probably don't want to troll around in your mobile mansion, so this custom motor home also features a garage large enough to swallow a Smart Fortwo. Fancy. Click on the gallery below to see an RV that's nicer than most people's homes.

Nice, all you need to do is bring your Butler along as the Driver, and it's like never leaving home.

BTW: This is the Custom Line Motor home, not the Continental.

Love the entire thing...except they can keep the MooMoo cow pillows

Should read "And features a garage, or a place to keep your butler."

eh, i'll take the one where the car it stored between the wheels, so it will fit a car that you'll actually WANT to drive, like a miata or exige.
It is very fitting that it "poops" out the smart, though. That thing is a definitely a turd.

It'd carry a shifter kart, no problem.

And if you need to carry a track toy, they have this:

Yep, it's carrying a 911 in the back.

I can't even imagine how much it would cost in fuel to take that thing a city block. Then again, if you can afford that vehicle......... what's a little fuel??

Look at that nice big bath tub!

Unless things have changed over the last few years, the largest water heater made for RVs is still only 10 gallons though, so what good does that nice big 50 gallon tub do for you!

I'm fairly confident that's bigger than my apartment...

If you manage to maneuver that thing into the camping grounds, you can park it on the dirt and watch it sink...

Good for billionaires with European semi driving fantasies I suppose.

It looks like 550 square feet, which is comparable to a lot of 1-bedroom apartments.

Nicer than some peoples homes, huh?
Hell, I used to build yachts interiors, and it's nicer than a few of those!

But set-up has got to be a bitch. Unless you have a crew of course....

I would pick a different color scheme and lose the clown car but otherwise quite impressive. Must go for close to 2 million

Exquisite. Love the modernistic looks inside (minus the cow patterns).
