2010 Dodge Viper Dealer-Exclusive Special Editions – Click above for high-res image

For a Dodge dealer, it couldn't get much better than selling a good quantity of Vipers. As if selling Chrysler's flagship model wasn't sweet enough, we bet seeing the smile on a customer's face when they crank over their new 8.3-liter V10 for the first time is a reward in and of itself. The Viper's time on this earth may be limited, but while it's still being offered, the process just got that much sweeter for three dealers.

As part of its "Dealer Exclusive Program," Dodge has created three special editions specifically for the dealers who've sold the most Vipers across the country. The first is the Viper SRT10 ACR Roadster, commissioned by Woodhouse Dodge of Blair, Nebraska, in yellow with black; followed by the "Reverse SRT10 ACR" in green over black for Texas' Tomball Dodge; and finally Roanoke Dodge of Roanoke, Illinois' Black SRT10 Coupe with a split purple stripe up the middle.

All of them look like a pretty darn sweet way to send the Viper rumbling off into the setting sun, but only 50 will be made in total, so we're betting that more than a handful of these will be stashed away by collectors. Full details in the press release after the jump.

Dodge Announces Dealer Exclusive Program Offering Unique 2010 Viper SRT10s
06.07.2010 , Auburn Hills, Mich.

The 2010 model year just got even more exclusive for the Dodge Viper. The Dodge brand is unveiling three new unique 2010 Viper SRT10 vehicles as part of its "Dealer Exclusive Program."

Dealers who sold sufficient Viper volume to qualify were given the opportunity to create their own special editions that best meet the dreams of their most loyal customers. A total of 50 cars are being built under this program, and specific combinations were determined by each Dodge dealer who volunteered to participate.

Shown here (from left to right) are the Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR Roadster, developed specifically with Woodhouse Dodge in Blair, Neb., featuring a Race Yellow Clear Coat exterior with yellow driver's stripe; the "Reverse SRT10 ACR" developed with Tomball Dodge in Tomball, Texas, featuring the reverse color combination of the Snakeskin Green Special Edition introduced earlier this model year; and the Black SRT10 Coupe with Plum Crazy dual racing stripes developed with Roanoke Dodge in Roanoke, Ill.

To find all of the Dodge dealers who have 2010 Dodge Viper SRT10s on order including the various special-edition models, check out the new dealer locator function at the Viper Headquarters website: http://www.viperheadquarters.com/viper_nation/dealer_locator

With this being the last model year for the current-generation Dodge Viper, 2010 continues to be the most special year of production for the 600 horsepower V-10 powered "ultimate American sports car." Approximately 500 cars will make up the 2010 model year production run, and each one is more exclusive than ever before with more than 7,000 different possible appearance combinations.

That dealership in Tomball is crazy! Last time I was there they had at least 30 Vipers in the front by the showroom. Salesman told me that people come over from Japan and buy 3 at a time for racing.

I thought Chrysler/Fiat had not yet decided the ultimate fate of the Viper yet? I was under the impression that while the current model is coming to an end as all models eventually do, that the Viper may yet return as a new model has been in the works for some time and Chrysler elected to keep Viper during bankruptcy.

Or has Chrysler announced definitely that they are killing Viper once and for all and not just taking a couple years off between models?

Is there anyone out there who doesn't think there is an all new Viper on the way?
With the level of transition going on at Chrysler, it makes perfect sense to take a little time in working on the new version. The business case for Viper is clear and I'm sure the preliminary plans are in place, but it's too soon to talk "new Viper" when so much new is coming to Dodge and in a hurry. It's called product focus, it's just not time to focus on Viper.....YET. Hiss! Hiss!

What? Blair Nebraska? That's literally right down the road from me. Nebraskans have a good chunk of change when it comes down to it. There are a lot of Die-Hard Mopar fanatics out here too, every so often they have a HUGE Mopar car show. Last year I experienced the thrill of watching a SRT-4 attempt to race an SRT-10. Hysterical.

That Woodhouse dealer is absolutely immense. When you drive around near Omaha 9 out of 10 cars you see came from a Woodhouse dealer.
Wow, a location in Nebraska is a top selling Viper dealer? I never would have guessed.
Not only do they sell the most Vipers in the country, they race a Viper in the World Challenge GT series.

Apparently corn fields like buying vipers. Cuz thats all there is there.

Gruv has consistently proven he knows nothing about cars, but now we see he knows nothing about states either.

As a Nebraska native, I can tell you that the Woodhouse dealership (they sell just about everything with four wheels) is an automotive Mecca. The sheer number of lot stock cars they have is staggering. If you looked at a satelite image of the place you'd barely see ground across several acres. If nothing else, rural Nebraska does come pretty cheap by the square foot...

Oh by the way Gruv, the corn farmers in Nebraska/Iowa will have more money than you could ever dream of. You are such a fool.

        @Joe C.
So this is the result of our MASSIVE governmental corn subsidies? A Dodge Viper mecca in the middle of nowhere?

        Cool!

      I'd get black/purple one...

Chrysler has stated that VIPER will be completely new from the chasis up in 20012-2013, so keep your eyes open!
