Here's a fantastic challenge that the Top Gear team didn't think up: if you walked around London dressed as the Stig, how many strangers would let you drive their cars? Aussie comedy show The Chaser's War on Everything went to London to find out, in an attempt to find a cheaper way to travel. What ensued was a guy in a bad Stig getup poaching transport from a few Brits -- and it only got better from there. Follow the jump to see the vid. Hat tip: Scott

novel ideal... lame execution.
the tard playing the stig in that sketch was such a dork even though he never said a word. Real stig wouldn't make hand signals, give kisses, etc.
To all the people that say America is fat... watch the video and wait for the female English ham beast to appear, she sports extra class when she lights up a cig from being scared/embarrassed.
Personally if I found out they were just playing a game and pretending to be stig... Fake stig would have a shoe up his "arse" (as they say over there).

Great idea but my girlfriend could "mime" out a better stig than that bag of douchery. I agree with Jeff the "stig" character would never act like that.

You don't get the Chaser style of comedy, do you?
If he acted and was dressed exactly the same as the real Stig, then there would be no surprise or humour as to why people handed over their car to him.
Chaser likes to push things into the ridiculous just to prove their point. Sometimes they push it too far and offend a large number of people but it is still funny.
Here is a prime example. Start off quite small and then push it to the limit.
