2009 24 Hours of Le Mans: What's on Where

Good morning everybody. Here's the rundown for you U.S.-based readers on where and when to find Le Mans coverage today. Sadly, the salad days of the old Speedvision are now a distant memory, and live 24-hour TV coverage is not happening for us. Without further ado:

TELEVISION

SPEED TV
  • Saturday 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM Eastern: The start
  • Saturday 4:30 PM - 10:00 PM Eastern - Day into night
  • Sunday 12:00 AM - 6:00 AM Eastern - Night into day
  • Sunday: 6:00 AM - 9:30 AM Eastern - The finish
The gap between Noon Eastern and 4:30 PM is filled with Sprint Cup practice and coverage of the hugely-impactful NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. At least you know you'll have some time to go out and mow the lawn. The 10:00 PM to Midnight block is taken up by AMA Pro Prime Time.

UPDATE: SPEED TV will stream Le Mans on the web during the Noon- 4:30 PM Eastern and 10 PM - 12 AM Eastern television programming gaps. Click here to watch the SPEED TV Le Mans web stream during those hours.
