As if 1000 horsepower, 0-60 mph in 2.25 seconds and the huge rear wing didn't attract enough attention. It just had to be in Snake Skin Green. According to Hennessey, this is the first and only Venom Twin-Turbo in this color, and it's listed for sale on HennesseyPerformance.com. It comes with the 1200-horsepower upgrade option, VenomAero body kit, KW adjustable coilover suspension, Brembo brakes, lightweight wheels, and more. The car's new owner will also be able to make Bugatti Veyron owners green with envy as they see this Viper's taillights fading into the distance. Click away in the full-res gallery below.

BONUS: Video of said Venom Viper spinning out while racing a Porsche 911 added after the jump.

Can't complain about the specs but damn that thing is ugly. Doesn't help that the car has been ugly stock since after the 2nd gen either. Poor Viper.

what a great car for someone that has a millimeter peter
        • 6 Years Ago
Yes since we all know Prius drivers have the biggest cocks. Don't knock what you can never own for no other reason than because you will never own it.

If I had the money, I'd never buy that POS, its a Dodge nuff said

        a) I love your name
        b) Don't quite agree with your comment :) though I agree with your reply to the reply...I wouldn't drive a Viper...I'd go for either a vette, a gt500, lotus, or something along those lines

Damn thats good looking, and I'm sure it handles great too. Too bad there's no v8 roar when it starts up.

Looks like a 1969 Daytona Charger that swallowed a snake.
      Very Fast.

Is Autoblog on Hennessey's payroll? Why do we hear about every sneeze this guy makes?

      Seems a little skewed, eh?
Dinan? I honestly hadn't ever heard anything bad about them! To find bad stuff on Hennessey, you don't even NEED to try.
Every time I see his name on here and it's not a headline about him getting busted, I lose a little more respect for the 3 guys that submit the blog posts.
        Because it's Automotive news.
Automotive news my ass. Hennessey gets more coverage than any tuner and many manufacturers. It surprises me that a publication that caters to the consumer like this one does has no problem bolstering an undisputed scammers reputation time and time again.

There is no question about it, Hennessey HAS scammed people. Disgusting.

And dont tell me to ignore it if i dont like it. Autoblog has been my homepage for a while now.

Just for a reference, here are all of AB's articles.

"Lucy, You Got Some Explaining To Do"
Then I'll ask why it's your homepage if you don't like it ;)
It's also nice to see how tight-lipped these guys are about this. I guess it makes sense: take customers' cash, keep some, use some for advertising, and the rest for hush money. All the magazines are in love with Hennessey, too.

        How about an explanation, AB?

you call it worthless, yet it can and will destroy any car an the road, and yet remains (relatively) affordable.

The only thing useless here is your post. To quote Ron White, "Next time you have a though...let it go."

Hey big mouth, tell us ONE pro or even semi pro race one of his cars has won ?

I can tell you in races I have done that had cars he worked on, ZERO. all BS, junk

The only thing he destroys is the cars he worked on and the banking accounts of his customers

WEll, if you could read, you would notice that i said "R O A D", not track. Also, you would notice that i said nothing about the man, only the car.
Lets face it, whoever buys this car is not going to race it at pro or semi-pro events, they are going to drive it a handful of times per year, on nice days, cruising around town, racing Corvettes from stop lights (which it will eat like so many Skittles), and then go back and park it in the garage.

That's easily the ugliest vaporware product to come out of Hennesey's scam factory yet.
"It comes with the 1200-horsepower upgrade option..." When 0 - 60 in 2.25 seconds just won't do.
This thing hurts my eyes, and it's not the colour that's to blame. I get the look of the stock viper, I don't like it but it looks like a cohesive design. This just looks odd and overdone.
The good thing is the turbos probably dull down the awful noise of that V10.
Let's just hope the future owner doesn't pull a Nick Hogan! Too soon!?
Worthless Chrysler, and its v10 sounds like shyte.
Shouldn't you have your bottle and be going off to bed soon?
A 1000HP car? How cool is that! It's this kind of stuff that makes us all car nuts. But for some reason unknown to me, I can't understand all the hate going on here.

I'm surprised someone hasn't chimed in yet to say how bad the gas mileage is and outraged at it's carbon footprint. Chill out people!
