VIDEO: Caparo T1 in action
We just can't get enough of the Caparo T1. We've surely bored you with all the stats -- performance figures, power-to-weight ratio and engineering geeketry -- but nothing compares to actually seeing the closest thing to a street-legal F1 car making the rounds on a closed circuit.
The video after the jump is entirely too short, but evidence of the T1's physics-defying abilities can be seen by its nonexistent body roll and the glorious sounds of the 3.5-liter V8 being run into the red at a heady 10,500 RPM. Goosebumps, anyone?

Was that the old airfield that TopGear uses? the pavement markings looked similar to what they use for some of their turns.

I work for Caparo - amazing that they have made this beast, got to see the car at the 2007 autosport international show in Birmingham, just like an F1, lot bigger than I first thought.

This car looks pretty serious... however, I can't help but think how the car would be so much better looking if the inner light lenses were painted the body color instead of black. This would detract from their less than imaginative design and focus so much more on the beautiful nose cone.
