VIDEO: Comedian/Actor Eddie Griffin takes out another Enzo
Another Enzo has met its unfortunate end, this time at the hands of actor Eddie Griffin. It seems that the star of several Oscar-worthy performances in Deuce Bigalow, Norbit and the unforgettable House Party 3, was practicing for a charity event to promote his new flick Redline, when he understeered Enzo's namesake into a Jersey barrier at speed.A video of the crash is available here, but be forewarned, you'll have to explain your tears and howls to your housemates.
Thanks for the tip, Brian!

This was obviously set up by the producers of that new movie Redline. I think they realized that their movie is heading for financial failure and thought this would get us talking. Besides, who the hell would let Eddie Griffin drive their $1 million machine? The man can probably barely spell his name.

Eddie Griffin can say he's just joined a very exclusive club...those who have crashed Enzos(hope he's OK).

WOW, that was a hard hit. Glad he made it ok, if that was intentional I don't think they planned this to hit so bad of a hit. You could get really hurt with an impact of that magnitude. I don't think they would risk the actors life like that.

Not sure what the world has against these cars, but at this rate they'll all be gone before the end of the decade.
The creators of this particular film should be imprisoned for criminal automotive negligence. The local news station (KCAL9) that broke this story was told by the producer (who happens to be the owner of the Enzo) that it's not a big deal because they also lost two Carerra GT's while making the film. Un-friggen-believable!

wow that was a hard hit. the car held up very well though, I didnt think carbon fiber was good for impacts too. Did you guys see the guy that was standing on the other side of the barrier??? he didnt flinch AT ALL!!! wow. I was suprised how he Eddie tried to play it off like it was nothing, "I just need driving lessions". You just crashed an ENZO!! He shouldn't even be allowed to drive home!

Although I think this car is absolutely amazing, I don't understand why every time one crashes people start going crying and writing eulogies? Ferrari could build another Enzo tomorrow if it wanted to (maybe not in on day but you get the picture.) Now had this been something like a Bugatti Royale than you might want to take a moment of silence, and by a moment I mean a year.

"396 or 397"
I thought there were more than three crashed.... I had heard someonewhere that it was up to 9, plus the Glickenhaus P4/5.

That makes me sick.
Does anyone know of any wrecked Ferrari FXX's?
I hope to God not.

There's only three confirmed deaths that we're aware of -- maybe four. Not counting Glickenhaus. Here's the Enzo Registry, but all aren't listed (natch): http://www.enzoregister.barchetta.cc/events-stories/stories/enzo-ferrari/enzo-ferrari-by-serial-number/default.htm

People should be forced to take an IQ test before owning such a majestic piece of automotive history, since apparently any idiot with the money can own and wreck one, should be ashamed for what they have done to these cars
