Cars That Depreciate The Slowest

Everybody knows that as soon as they drive a new car off the dealership lot, it's going to drop in value. It's a sad fact of automobile ownership, and there's nothing you can do about it. Or is there?

Savvy car buyers can at least be armed with knowledge of how much their brand-new vehicle is likely to depreciate in their first year of ownership. The average new car loses almost 17 percent of its retail sticker price in depreciation in the first 12 months, but some cars hold on to their value much better than others, according to iSeeCars.com.

Amazingly, one car actually increases in value on the used-car market after its first year of ownership.

Check out this slideshow of the 10 cars that depreciate the slowest by clicking on the image above. For the other side of the coin, click here to see which cars depreciate the fastest.
