An annual JD Power study examines the things consumers like most about their new vehicles.

The company gets its information directly from car-buyer surveys, and it's based on eight separate categories: engine/transmission, ride, handling and braking, comfort/convenience, seats, dashboard panel, heating, ventilation and cooling, sound system, and styling/exterior.

For 2014, the overall highest-ranked nameplate was Porsche. It marked the 10th consecutive year Porsche took the top spot. For non-premium brands, Hyundai took top honors. In addition to overall awards, JD Power bestows top honors to vehicles in a variety of different segments. We've compiled all of the winners in the truck and SUV segments here in this gallery for you.

Redesigned for the 2014 model year, the Nissan Rogue now comes with a sharper exterior and more refined interior. The Rogue is available in S, SV, or SL trims, with front or all-wheel drive. The Cayenne is the realization of Porsche's legendary sporty driving demeanor in SUV form. The all-wheel drive, five-passenger Cayenne is available in five trims for 2013: V6, S, GTS, Turbo and Diesel.
