Most of us spend a lot of time in our cars. Between commuting to work, driving on vacation and running errands, we're often behind the wheel for hours on a given day.

Because of this, it's important to think about a car's interior when you're shopping -- not just its engine or how it looks on the outside -- as the seats, infotainment, noise level and other features are major factors in the overall ownership experience.

Ward's Auto, a Southfield, Mich.-based company that offers industry analysis, selected the Top 10 interiors on the market right now based on extensive testing and evaluation. There were some surprises in the results, most notably the fact that not a single European car made the list.

Click through to see Ward's picks for the best vehicle interiors that you can buy, from compact cars to luxury sedans. Spoiler alert: It seems the Asian automakers are definitely doing some things correctly.
