2020 Defender Photos
The Defender is Land Rover's latest addition to their line-up and the return of a legend reimagined for the modern world. The Defender is initially offered in 6 variants and two bodystyles: Standard, S, SE, HSE, X and First Edition, which is available as both a four-door 110 and a two-door 90. Power is provided by either a 296-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, or a 395-hp 3.0-liter turbo and electric supercharged MHEV V6. Both engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with manual mode and full-time four-wheel drive with Land Rover's acclaimed ""Terrain Response"" system and available All Terrain Progress Control help the Defender tackle a wide range of off-road conditions. Trim-dependent standard features include: a panoramic glass roof, 18-inch steel wheels, 19- and 20-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, front and rear heated seats, leather upholstery, two- and three-zone automatic climate control, satellite radio, HD Radio, Bluetooth wireless phone connectivity/audio streaming, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration, connected PIVI Pro navigation with a 10-inch touchscreen. A unique front row centre jump seat can bump seating capacity to 6, or a third row can be added to boost seating capacity to 7. Safety equipment includes electronic stability control with traction control and roll mitigation, 3D surround camera system, six airbags, hill descent control, trailer stability assist, auto highbeams, blind spot assist, lane keep assist, emergency braking, driver condition monitor and more. The Defender is all-new for 2020.
