Chevy's hatch was one of the first plug-in hybrids to hit the market, but never caught on with consumers. The solid powertrain and good tech are let down by a compact and bland interior. The fuel economy and range aren't as impressive as they used to be.

What a week. When we took delivery of this 2019 Chevy Volt just before the Thanksgiving break, we didn't think it might just be the last time anyone on staff would get behind the wheel.
