2011 Volkswagen Tiguan

The Tiguan is Volkswagen's entry into the ever growing small SUV segment. With European design and sophistication, VW looks to take on the established player's in the market head-on. The Tiguan is powered by VW's versatile 200-hp 2.0L turbo FSI engine mated to either a six-speed manual (S FWD only) or six-speed automatic transmission. All trims are available in either front wheel drive or 4Motion all-wheel drive. Standard safety equipment includes six airbags, anti-lock brakes, tire pressure monitoring system, traction control, and electronic stability control. For 2011, new alloy wheel designs are standard on the S and SE trims, and all trims get a new look steering wheel. Bluetooth is now standard on all trims, and the satellite radio free trial has been reduced to three months from six.
