About to Tick 500,000 miles (Yes 500k miles): 2006 Lexus RX 400h

I bought a brand new 2006 RX400h five years ago and as I commute a lot (a very lot actually) on interstate very soon I will be putting close to half million miles on my Lexus RX400h in fact the odometer reading yesterday showed little over 425,000 (425k) miles but I plan to keep it until it hits the 500k miles mark This is my first Lexus (second Toyota made) car and I am completely satisfied with my Lexus RX400h. I earlier had BMW 528 (and also a Mercedes for a very short while) but both these German made cars were problem vehicles and they required a very high maintenance on my pocket especially after 100k miles. But with Lexus (being my first car which I bought brand new had like 8 miles on odometer) I never had the issues (which I had with BMW) and Lexus RX400h was very highly reliable. I changed the tires 8 times as of now (required lot of new tires as I keep driving and odometer keeps ticking) and changed the timing belt three times (after every 100k miles) and these two (Tires & Timing belt) were the only high item expense for me ($1000+). I am very satisfied with my Lexus 2006 RX 400h and I am planning to buy only a Lexus (next year).
Agree with love the mileage, love the pep. Folks do a double take when I floor it. My third and best Lexus. Gas savings may not pay for car...but, after all, it's a Lexus. If money is the big issue, the Prius has a great rep, too. But 24 mpg average is darn good for such a wehicle. It great to be green!
