Overview
The MINI Countryman is the largest vehicle in the MINI lineup, offering compact crossover flexibility and space in a unique, highly customizable MINI way. The four-door Countryman is available in both front- and all-wheel (ALL4) drive configurations. The Countryman is powered by one of three engines, a 134-hp 1.5-liter three-cylinder, a 189-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder or a 301-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder. Both engines on the front-wheel drive Countryman are mated to a seven-speed auto-shift manual transmission while the AWD engines are paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Trim specific standard equipment includes 17- or 18-inch aluminum wheels, a power sunroof, High Beam Assist automatic high-beams, LED headlights and daytime running lights, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, an AM/FM/HD radio that's satellite ready, Bluetooth, a 6.5-inch touchscreen display, MINI Intelligent Emergency Call and MINI Connected smart device integration. Safety features such as eight airbags, a rear view camera, Rear Park Distance Control, Automatic Emergency Braking forward collision mitigation, pedestrian detection prevention and 4-wheel anti-lock brakes with brake assist are all standard. A Driver Assistance Package is available that adds additional safety equipment such as Active Cruise Control, a Parking Assistant and MINI Head-up Display. The Mini Countryman has a refreshed exterior for 2021 but otherwise carries over with minimal changes.
