Overview
The Honda HR-V is a small crossover vehicle with a big personality, showcased through its combination of coupe-like design and sport utility functionality. It offers a roomy and versatile interior that provides seating for five and flexible cargo space, compliments of Honda?s second-row Magic Seat. The 2021 HR-V comes in five trim levels: LX, Sport, EX, EX-L and Touring. Each offers an extremely competitive list of features for a compact crossover. All Honda HR-V trim levels are powered by an efficient 1.8L 4-cylinder engine, which produces 141 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque. From there, power is sent to the front wheels through an automatic continuously variable transmission (CVT). All-wheel drive is an option should buyers need it and comes standard on the new Touring model. Standard features include 17-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity, a rearview backup camera, a 160-watt sound system with speed-sensitive volume control, a 5-inch color LCD screen, an auxiliary input, a tilt and telescoping steering wheel, a second-row power outlet and a 60/40 folding rear seat. Safety features on the HR-V range include anti-lock brakes, traction control and stability control, as well as a hill start feature and a tire pressure monitoring system. The HR-V is equipped with dual-stage front airbags, front side airbags and a side curtain airbag. The EX, EX-L and Touring trims also have an active lane departure and blind spot system as standard equipment. The 2021 Honda HR-V rolls into the new year with no significant updates.
