Overview

The BMW 5-series puts an emphasis on the driving experience. Now in its seventh generation, this mid-size luxury car remains a true sports sedan by delivering aggressive styling, precise handling and outstanding safety. The M550i xDrive features a 455-hp 4.4-liter, twin-turbo V-8 engine and an eight-speed automatic with shift paddles. Standard features include leather upholstery, leatherette wrapped dash, heated front and rear seats, dual-zone automatic climate control with active micro-filtration, power sunroof, Comfort Access, a 16-speaker harman/kardon audio system, Bluetooth, Adaptive M Sport suspension, 19-inch alloy wheels with run-flat summer tires, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen navigation system with iDrive 6.0. Safety is provided by six airbags, Active Driving Assistant, BMW Assist emergency call, alarm system, rearview camera, electronic traction and stability control, anti-lock brakes, tire pressure monitoring, LED brakelights, front and rear parking sensors and adaptive LED headlights with high beam assist. Some available tech and safety features include blind spot warning, head-up display, lane departure warning, 360 surround cameras, ventilated and massaging front seats, wireless phone charging, active cruise control with steering and lane assist and a WiFi hotspot. For 2021, BMW 5-Series returns with minor changes including a refreshed exterior, larger touchscreen monitor and upgraded features.
