2021 BMW M4 Competition 2dr Rear-Wheel Drive Coupe

Overview

The M4 is the new name for the high-performance version of the coupe it's derived from. The M4 shares it's mechanicals with the new M3 sedan, and together form the performance pinnacle in the 3/4-series line-up. The performance-oriented M4 gets a 3.0L twin-turbocharged six-cylinder. It produces an impressive 473 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque. The M4 Competition uses the same engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that?s tuned to produce 503 horsepower. M4 models are rear-wheel-drive only. Trim levels are all similarly equipped across the range, notable features on the 4-Series include 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, heated side mirrors with a power folding function, 12-way power adjustable front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth connectivity, a automatic climate control with separate rear controls, BMW's iDrive system with an 8.8-inch display screen, cruise control and rain-sensing wipers. The M4 comes with a few more standard items, such as adaptive suspension, touch-screen navigation, and a 16-speaker surround audio system. Available safety equipment includes front and rear parking sensors, a lane departure warning system, blind spot warning, forward collision mitigation, rear collision warning, a pedestrian detection system, a driver attention alert and a traffic sign information system. For 2021 the BMW 4-series and M4 are both completely redesigned. The 430 Gran Coupe, 440i, and 440 Gran Coupe models are no longer available while an M440 has been added to the lineup.
