The Forte is Kia's offering in the competitive Compact market segment. Attractive styling, pricing and feature content are what make this car standout. The Kia Forte is powered by one of two engines, a 147-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed manual or a CVT transmission or a 201-hp 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder paired with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed auto-shift manual transmission. Trim specific standard equipment includes 16- 17- or 18-inch aluminum wheels, LED daytime running lights, front fog lights, bucket front seats, climate control, an 8-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto Connectivity. Safety features such as six airbags, a rear view camera, low tire pressure warning system and 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), Lane Keeping Assis-Line (LKA-L), Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) and Driver Attention Warning (DAW) are all standard while the GT-Line and EX trims add Blind Spot Collision Warning (BCW) and Rear Cross Traffic Collision Warning (RCCW). The Kia Forte adds the GT and GT-Line trims for 2020.
